I am still having issues after following
http://docs.sentora.org/?node=21
I am not able to connect after adding the vhost in that document to the subdomain from with in sentora itself.
Have I misunderstood what i need to do in that document?
You obviously missed something in your setup.
Even if I don't like that solution it works.
Explain step by step what you did exactly, so we can help.

I created the domain and subdomain in sentora, and then I went to the admin module and chose the subdomain I wanted to add ssl to.
I copied and pasted what was there and modified the SSL related stuff as well as URL's that are mentioned in that Vhost. I save and then nothing. Am I supposed to leave that vhost entry and not change anything?
How can i edit the default virtual host that sentora sets up during installation with out it getting overridden in httpd-vhosts.conf?
You must use
admin > module admin > apache config > "Override a Virtual Host Setting"

http://docs.sentora.org/?node=64 is what i followed and did the above mentioned steps. but im still getting an ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED on google chrome.
The issue here is what documentation is correct as there are 3 different things more or less saying similar things. Once I get a clearer understanding of the right way it should be done I am more than willing to update the documentation so it shows the correct way to do things instead of all this confusion i seem to be having.

Managed to solve that problem. Now I have an issue where its not taking me to the panel login I am getting the below. Do i need to change the document root to /etc/sentora/panel?
Your hosting space is ready...
Your web hosting space is now active and ready to be used.
To get started:
Login to your Sentora account
Create an FTP account
Replace or delete this file (index.html)
My question proper is how can i set a given subdomain to not show me that its an empty site but have it redirect to the panel login page instead.
