I get a 403 Forbidden error if I create a backup and then try to download it from Sentora.
How can I make this work?




The file itself is owned by "www-data" and has 777 permissions.
The "tmp" folder is owned by root with the same 777 permissions if that's any help at all.

If you search the forum a bit you will notice we said this more once: The download feature has been disabled, since 2 years due to security issues.

Also note that you are trying to download them from the /tmp/ folder and not the proper /hostdata/[user]/backups/ folder which should have the proper permissions.

Ahhh OK, thanks dude. I always search before I post and I tried a host of different terms and found nothing relevant but at least I know now.

I think that is a bug also @[Me.B] where the backup zip's are not removed from the tmp folder... I see how this can cause confusion.

The feature should even totally dropped. Unless we find a secure solution.
