i get a message "Invalid Folder." when trying to create a new ftp account.

my Hosting company has put my distribution on a tiny SSD drive so I have symlinked /var/sentora to /mnt/storage/sentora.

could this be the problem and if so is there some way to tell sentora where the files are?

Go to: Module Admin > Apache Config > Vhosts Directory

This allows for changing where the user files/sites are located.

There are other settings there too to change different locations (Vhosts backup, Upload temp directory).

There are also a few more changes you could make to the log files, etc. in the Module Admin > FTP config, etc. sections.

Also, in the x-settings database table you can manually attempt to change folders.

Always make a backup first!

Also make sure you do a full daemon run after the changes so they take effect.
