When i visit one domain  like this  www.avchat.dominicanvibe.com

i See the Administration panel

and when i visit like this http://avchat.dominicanvibe.com/

I see the correct site

Diference  are the
http://
www.
?  this is the beta version
avchat.dominicanvibe.com is a subdomain so works only on this URL....

Adding www or what ever will point to the PANEL.

So if you want www.avchat.dominicanvibe.com add it as another sud domain to same root folder that would fix it.

its not possible to enter anithing like www. or http:// before the sub name

you get an error like
Your Domain name is not valid. Please enter a valid Domain Name: i.e. 'domain.com'

And this is not correct that you have to create 2 subdomain this should be working on both of them
Indeed second level subdomains or how are the called like www.sub.domain.com or sub1.sub2.sub3.domain.com can not be created.
It would be a nice feature to have...

P.S. http:// is an protocol like ftp:// etc. which is in front of all domains, but some/lots of browsers don't show this anymore.
www. is an subdomain which they added in the time that internet was not as common as today to make clear it was an internet address and is still used.
At least that's what I think it means... Tongue
Rone-e is correct. 'www' is just a subdomain and is no longer needed. But to try and add www to a domain that is already a subdomain is bad practice as is using more than 1 subdomain like below.

And you can add more than one subdomain: http://shared2.shared.mach-hosting.tk/
Tom,

Such restriction should not be applied. Let the users choose here. refusing it is a non sense for me & there is such restriction over ip's when we can't use 127.0.0.1 or 192.168.x.x. I would call this a "BUG".

As long setup don't break the server even if it doesn't look common sens and don't break RFC it should be allowed.
