you should use manual setting for thunderbird.
Port 25
authentification plain txt NO SSL NO TLS!
SMTP is enabled and works fine otherwise you will not be able to receive any emails from outside.

Hi, do you maybe know when will SSL for mail servers be enabled for VPS type of hosting?
My provider tells me it is not yet supported by Sentora.
