RE: Show us ya.......... home server setup. - ZeroT - 09-18-2014 This is my current setup. The blue box is an old mail firewall which I have upgraded and repurposed as a pfSense box. Switch is an HP 1800-24G The first N54L box is my unRAID and the 2nd N54L is running ESXi with 1 VM for web development and 1 VM currently running windows + ZPanel to be replaced with Linux + Sentora There are also 3 Pi's which I did have running as a 3 host nginx but they are currently off waiting for another project idea. There is also a Netgear router running in AP only mode sat on top
RE: Show us ya.......... home server setup. - Nigel - 09-18-2014 Very nice. I like the HP's. RE: Show us ya.......... home server setup. - webnetvn - 09-18-2014 Thtas beautiful ZeroT I wish mine was that sexy ;D RE: Show us ya.......... home server setup. - eliotime3000 - 09-18-2014 Impressionant server. RE: Show us ya.......... home server setup. - baldman - 10-13-2014 After seeing your neat little setup ZeroT I don't whan to post any pictures...lol # I have and old PC running pfsense with 2 networks, one personal and one for my servers. # My main server is the dell OptiPlex 780, Can't remember the specs...lol, I think its got about 6 gig DDR3. For the main OS on that I'm using Openmediavault (on an SSD drive not a flash drive) with the Virtualbox Plugin. The Virtualbox plugin also utilizes the phpVirtualbox script for managing VM's remotely in your web browser....Sweeeet # My VM's are a Windows 7 with Zpanel and another with Ubuntu for Sentora when I get my head around Linux...lol # I also run another Openmediavault server (not a VM) on my personal network for my personal files etc. On this server I use the Owncloud and Plex media server plugins... My wife love's it...lol Did I mention I really like Openmediavault...lol
