vps server migration - johnnyp - 02-07-2020
Hello to everyone.
I am using sentora on a server with ubuntu 14.04.06 x64 and i want to migrate to another vps with the same os.
Does anyone knows how to do that for a complete server migration and not just sentora?
Both servers running the exact same os, i must do it with rsync but i don't know the exact folders to exclude that are unique for each server.
Any help would be great, thank you

I just finished making a Sentora Transfer Agent (STA) script.
It does just as you asked with rsync and everything you need to get a new server running. Check it out
Transfer to other OS's coming soon!!!

I allready finished the new server, but i will try your STA script from the new server back to the old one, will use it as failover server and will get back to you the results.
