Just wondering - layman - 03-07-2015
If I have the ability to contribute towards Sentora??? Never tried anything like this before but willing to give it a go. I've been looking at the Zpanel website and followed it's history, I'm baffled because after 10 years development and transition to Sentora, it sorely lacks a decent filemanager.
Is it really so difficult to build a filemanager?
At the moment, I use winscp to upload large files (or not really that large but neither net2ftp nor sentoras filemanager can handle much), I use net2ftp to move files in bulk as Sentoras f/m can only move one file at a time, and I use sentoras filemanager for editting. It's kind of daft really.
Can anyone give me guidelines on developing apps for Sentora please? What are the problems that need to be overcome to create a decent filemanager>

Hi, I couldn't get monstftp to work, it simply wouldn't let me edit, change, open, upload or anything, plus I'm not sure how you install it into sentora.
Extplorer is what I'm using but it's sorely lacking. You can't move or delete multiple files, you need to do them one at a time, it only allows 10mb uploads, and you can't move back and forth within folders.
(i.e. if you need to edit two files, each in separate folders, after editing one, you need to go back to the domain folder then work your way forward to the next file. Not sure why it doesn't have simple back button!)

10mb uploads can be changed easily using .htaccess.
