Wrong MySQL Version on Sentora 1.0.3 - Ryuga - 09-28-2015 Hello, I was using Zpanel 10.1.1 and decided to switch to Sentora and did it. But now I realised that my MySQL server is 5.1.73, not one that supposed to be in Sentora 1.0.3 (5.5.29) but one that was in Zpanel. I made clean installation of CentOS so there must be no relation with Zpanel. I wonder why is this? Can this be a bug or something? RE: Wrong MySQL Version on Sentora 1.0.3 - kandrews - 09-28-2015 MySQL depends on the OS, you are running CentOS 6 i'm guessing as 7 wasn't supported with ZPanel. If you want a better version of MySQL you would have to upgrade to CentOS 7 or manually upgrade (which isn't currently supported). Are the server command line (mysql --version) and sentora showing the same versions? Oh, is that so? So I'll be able to use version 5.5.29 if only I install CentOS 7, right? It seems I have re-install server. ![]() And yes, versions are same in both. RE: Wrong MySQL Version on Sentora 1.0.3 - kandrews - 09-29-2015 You might be able to upgrade by using other repository but we wouldn't be able to help if you have a non standard setup |
