Ssl and mail server - liamgibbins - 02-28-2016

I installed a self generated ssl certificate last night using the cantos 7 method on the forums.

After hours of searching I finally got the panel working again but now I cannot connect to my email server from my phone or and other device for receiving or sending mails.

I have tried tls, ssl and no authentication protocols and several different ports including 25, 443 etc and I can not connect to it at all.

Also when backing up sentora through the control panel now gives me an error when clicking to download tells me I don't have access to /etc/tmp but it all worked before I installed the certificate

If I go to a browser and put in mail.eve-lbs-group.co.uk it forwards to the panel on a different url and I have no idea how to solve this

Any help please

Or information on how to uninstall ssl and still get to the panel..

I tried turning it off but can not see or find the panel..
Also tried uninstalling ssl but still couldn't get to the panel..

When Loging into mail I get an error couldnt connect to database... this is all since installing openssl.

simply remove the exact changes you did.

Did you take backup?

nope cos i thought it would have worked with it been on the wiki.

I did remove the changes I made but when I do that you can not access the control panel or the mail server, it seems to have altered one of the configs so it will not go back to http instead of https.

If I could get to the email I would be happy with Https.. Big Grin

Oh great it was working went for dinner now can not even get back to the panel either in http or in https.

When you remove all the things in the wiki (what you did to install openssl) it still redirects to https:// even though its been removed...

any ideas? centos7

Ah I found the sentora log files..

OK i removed mod_ssl and openssl and looked in the log files.

This is whats in the sentora error log even tho ssl has been removed.

You have still SSL implemented there.

No. I am reinstalling the server and starting again, I think I will wait till the ssl update.

Thank you
