Request: Name Servers single IP - Smartay - 10-02-2014
There used to be a guide on the old forum even in the docs about setting name servers if on a single IP I know its not the ideal but just wondered if it was still about?

Use cloudflare.com free DNS it's far better and works fine.

Basically you need to make A records for ns1 and ns2 that point to your server's IP.
A Records:
* xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 1 Hour
@ xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 1 Hour
mail xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 1 Hour
ns1 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 1 Hour
ns2 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 1 Hour
www xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 1 Hour
