Might be worth raising an issue with them on their forum or bug tracker saying this might not work on alot of multi hosting environments... I helped fix an openbase dir issue with drupal to work with ZPanel a while back Smile

They know about it, it is supposed to skip around that and use another process if unavailable but doesn't seem to work that way Confused
Not sure why they even use it in the first place as like you said, many environments disable exec commands Dodgy
