custom document root
Hello friends

i have a question for you...

when i create a new domain, it automatically generates the "vhost configuration":

<virtualhost *:80>
ServerName mysite.com
ServerAlias  www . mysite.com
DocumentRoot "/var/sentora/hostdata/zadmin/public_html/mysite_com"

i can't modify /etc/sentora/configs/apache/httpd-vhosts.conf  , because this file will be overwritten
so i modify Module Admin -> Apache config -> Vhost:

<virtualhost *:80>
ServerName mysite.com
ServerAlias  www . mysite.com
DocumentRoot "/var/sentora/hostdata/zadmin/public_html/mysite_com/otherfolder/"

But it's not working....
i don't understand why.

help please
thanks!

RE: custom document root
Apache vhosts do not work that way. Your best bet is to use a .htaccess file.although I am not sure why you just don't use the domain root folder? /domain_ com/
