Apache Using Too Much Memory

Apache Using Too Much Memory
I am running Sentora on a CentOS 7 VPS with only 512mb memory.

What steps can I take to keep Apache from hogging so much memory? My web site has almost no hits but SQL keeps crashing because Apache hogs all the memory.

Any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you!

I would advice you to have a look to http://www.serverlab.ca/tutorials/linux/...e-part-ii/
They give good hints to find the proper httpd.conf regarding your hardware capacity, balancing the resources between mysql and apache.
All the best!

The solution is easy add more RAM as 512 MB is not good for LAMP centos 7 wich will crash under load or badly written scripts/requests.

Michaelsup,

Thank you for that material. It was very helpful. And Me.B I have been thinking about that. I just feel like my site doesn't have enough hits to warrant it yet.

Thank you both! Smile
