Create a new sub-domain with domain.fr invalid ?

I try to create a sub domain with a domain.fr like sub.domain.fr
I field sub in the sub input and select the domain : domain.fr
And i have this error : "Your domain name is not valid: Please enter a valid Domain name ..."

You must add the subdomain using subdomains features not as a new domain ?
