sentora vs. zpanel

hey everyone!

I'm new to zpanel, just heard of it today and I decided to create my own web host for my personal websites instead of paying crap prices for crap services elsewhere.

I have a simple question, is Sentora basically just an updated and maintained version of zPanel? I've heard of both and from what I've read i know that their development was at least at one point connected.

Sentora is a fork of the last release of zpanel. 

Zpanel didn't release any since then.
