can't connect to ftp..

hello i need help getting ftp to work with sentora i opened the ports for ftp on the firewall within CentOS 7 but it still doesn't let me connect and I not sure where the problem is but i will keep looking around on google and the forums until i get response or figure it out.... thank you.

Have you tried passive mode?

I use WinSCP for SSH and FTP connections. Not sure how fzSftp works.

I know what is wrong with that, do not touch any ports, leave Sentora as it is, you are using Filezila for your FTP connection, you need to:

Encryption: Use Plain FTP (insecure) 


then at the Logon type is "Normal" place your credentials, next you go to the TAB "Advanced" and place as follows:

PHP Code:

Server Type: UNIX 


Then at TAB "Transfer Settings" choose mode "Passive".

Click OK and connect, your problem is gone!
