Migrating Sentora to larger HDD?
Hello,

I want to change my current 250GB HDD where Sentora is hosted
I have bought a 2TB HDD to "swap" with the current HDD. As I know, Sentora only works on /root so following are my 2 questions Smile

1. Is there any way to "mount" the new 2TB HDD to the /root
-or-
2. Should I clone the old HDD to the new one? And if yes, how can I do it? (Clonzilla, maybe?)

I mention I am using Centos7.

Here is my
lsblk command fyi

Code:
sda               8:0    0 232.9G  0 disk ├─sda1            8:1    0     1G  0 part /boot └─sda2            8:2    0 231.8G  0 part  ├─centos-root 253:0    0   198G  0 lvm  /  ├─centos-swap 253:1    0   3.9G  0 lvm  [SWAP]  └─centos-home 253:2    0    30G  0 lvm  /home sr0              11:0    1  1024M  0 rom

Thank you and keep up the GREAT work!

Sentora data is stored in /var/sentora

you can rename /var/sentora then mount a new partition that have a simlink for the old directory. And then move the data.

Notice sentora DB is stored in another folder.

Thank you for your reply.
With this solution will Sentora show me the correct Disk Quota? (the new 2TB HDD or still the old one? Or both?)

Thanks again!

sentora may detect only the HD where it uses never both.
