I have whmcs on my sentora hosting and another website with script for contact. All use the phpmail

So when whmcs send a email.. a error occured : Could not instantiate mail function.

Modify the line in /etc/php.ini

sendmail_path = /usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i to sendmail_path = /usr/sbin/sendmail.postfix -t -i

Pas de problème.

Could you check log files? for error.

Also why changing the php.ini. Mail() function works fine without setting sendmail.

Notice you don't need to change php.ini as:

/usr/sbin/sendmail alias of -> /etc/alternatives/mta
and
/etc/alternatives/mta alias of -> /usr/sbin/sendmail.postfix
