Softaculous...
Hey all,

I was thinking should I implement a Softaculous module for sentora and will it be worth it?

Here are the reasons why I think it might not work:
Firstly Sentora is using php -v :

Code:
PHP 5.4.16 (cli) (built: Nov  6 2016 00:29:02) Copyright (c) 1997-2013 The PHP Group Zend Engine v2.4.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2013 Zend Technologies     with Suhosin v0.9.37.1, Copyright (c) 2007-2014, by SektionEins GmbH

and most or if not all scripts have been updated to php 7 or past php -v 5.4.16.
I have updated Sentastico's wordpress to the latest package to test its support and no its not supported by Sentora any longer. Way to install the latest version of WP is to install version 4.7.1/4.7.2 and use the update section within the wp panel, it will download the latest version without any content.

yeah so I'm contemplating if it is worth sitting down and consuming my time with a 50/50 chance that this might just be a fail ?

All inputs are welcomed Smile

RE: Softaculous...
I have already written Sentastico for that purpose Wink

Softaculous has been in contact with us directly and we have turned them down in the past since their project is not open source for one reason and compatibility is another.
