Once you set GoDaddy up with the info from the Docs, youo do not need to do anything in the panel. The default entries are fine. This is what I have been using for years now with no problems. Either it hasn't propagated yet, or you need to recheck akk your entries again.
If setup properly, you should see your panel login when you enter you ns1.domain.com into the browser address bar.
