He had a config issue and not a permissions issue. Re-installing Bind will not work because it will change it's config files to default and the Sentora configs are custom built and added during the panel install process.
Yes it could be done, but he would need a complete server backup to refer to in order to update/fix the default Bind config files to work with Sentora and it's database.
