MySQL / MariaDB Password Restrictions
#5
RE: MySQL / MariaDB Password Restrictions
Sorry for the late response, I was tied up at the office all day.
My initial password I tried included a !, however I got this error message.
"Your MySQL password is not valid. Valid characters are A-Z, a-z, 0-9."
I know for a fact I've used !'s in passwords with cPanel without issue, and pretty sure I've used $'s too.
I can't find any MySQL or MariaDB documentation outlining restrictions on passwords for users, but I may be overlooking some other system incompatibility that is built into Sentora.

Thanks for taking a look!
