I assume I am one setting change in postfix config from this working, or everything breaking…

I haven't changed anything out the box, however I would like to enable the "+something" part of emails, however I would like to know what to change, and the implications of changing that before I start,

This is part of RFC822 http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc822.html (see http://www.jacobsen.no/anders/blog/archi...valid.html for why you may want to do it).

Despite setting that up, I still don't have Sub-addressing with Postfix (http://cweiske.de/tagebuch/postfix-plus-addressing.htm). any ideas?

It was setup before and worked.

Did you restart postfix?

This is a out the box install, and it didn't work before I made the changes, or after. to restart postfix I used service postfix restart.

so sending to my server from my icloud account, site@skippy.org.uk is valid.
