what is the deference between zpanel and sentora folders

I have experience with zpanel, I installed sentora, I found in /var/ folder two folders zpanel and sentora, I saw them identical, is there any deference, and what folder should I get backup of, sentora or zpanel, and to which should I restore any backup,

one is a symbolic link to the other to avoid compatibility issues. Real one is /var/sentora. Same under /etc/ with sentora and zpanel.
