Possible to upgrade php to version 5.6 on Sentora 1.0.3 on Ubuntu?

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade php to version 5.6 on Sentora 1.0.3.  I need to upgrade a few scripts, namely InvisionPower Board (IPB) and CS-Cart. IPB now requires PHP 5.6 or higher and CS-Cart now strongly recommends PHP 5.6 or higher.  I'm currently using PHP 5.5.9 that comes standard with Sentora 1.0.3.  Thanks for any advice or thoughts!

@[Me.B] is the apache guru, he may know of a way or if it's possible.

On ubuntu you can upgrade but caution as you need to apply suhosin patch too.

My big concerne is breaking other packages later:

Webmail won't work as you need the package too.

And then you need to recompile again suhosin and patch it otherwise your hosting will blow up.

Is it somehow possible to leave Sentora work with PHP 5  and let customers work with there own PHP version (5.6)?
If there so many steps to take;
1. Upgrade
2.Install Webmail (Roundcube) , other modules ?!
3. compile suhosin

Is there a chance that customers website on Joomla or Wordpress will be corrupted?

Is suhosin still needed with PHP version >5.6?  The main goal was covering the security flaws back then and maybe with 5.6 there covered.
