Hey all

I just did a clean install sentora, and im getting this error when I try to install modules

The package archive could not be extracted

I know it was working the other day because I managed to install some modules, but when I came to add some more its not working.


Iv searched the forums and the only fixes I can find are the module owner changing the code on their end, but I know this isnt the case as I'm having the issue with multiple modules, and even deleted one of the modules I had previously installed and got the error when re-installing it.

I have checked file permissions and everything but just can't see where its failing, is there a log or something with more info?

Coup you ensure the module archive is not corrupt?

Juste change the module extension to .zip and see if you can unzip it.

Yup it extracts fine if I change it to zip

what module are trying first to add?

I first tried the whmcs module. Then when that didn't work I tried the remove deleted records one

I think that module is broken.

Did any modules install? Or just some not work?

I just retried
WHMCS -
Deleted Records Manager - Installed fine about 2 days ago when I did the sentora reinstall, deleted just before and went to reinstall it,
xbilling - Had installed before I reset sentora

All 3 failed with the extraction error

Running some tests right now to see if it is the source or something on your server specifically.

I would assume its on my end, as I managed to install a few modules fine when I first set it up on saturday
