i know im asking alot of questions, but we are changing from windows hosting to linux. And the support here is great.

i need to enable ssl on the system so we can use https

any know how on this? Im using ubuntu 12.04

You can use what even name you want! Only replace it in with the correct file name in the config.

So I could do something like this?

openssl req -x509 -nodes -days 365 -newkey rsa:2048 -out /etc/apache2/ssl/nextus.crt -keyout /etc/apache2/ssl/nextus.key
